The Mambatangan Barangay Council called up for a meeting in every Purok or Zone to gather the farmers in the area January 31, 2021.
The aim for the meeting was to help fellow farmers, beginners or big ones to be recognized and to be supported by the Committee on Livelihood and Economic Enterprise and Department of Agriculture as well.
Purok 5 Mambatangan Farmers Association President Mr. Agustin A. Paculanang Jr. as you can see in the photo, tackles few topics with regards to techniques, tips and few advices on how should each member could help. And that each household are to be group per classification. For residents who raise chickens, pigs and other poultry animals. Even to the so-called plantitas and also for those residents with fishponds. And that he plan also to do a house-house visit as possible to interview each resident and to get to know what line of farming they aim or if they show interest or not.
Mrs. Marcela Felesedario also speaks up and shared her experiences on farming. How the Department of Agriculture was able to help her not only financially but with knowledge and information too. And she hopes that the beginning of this association will grow and improve to help fellow farmers in her residency.
