Mambatangan Zone Defenders on Alert Status for ASF

In line with the protection of the residents of Mambatangan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, the Zone Defenders received an order from Barangay Mambatangan Officials to take charge in the area.

Zone Defenders composed of the Zone Officers with the C.V.O. Officer took an initiative to place a checkpoint to monitor passerby or vehicles that enter the vicinity since Barangay Mambatangan is the barangay that is near to Barangay Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City.

REKORIDA from the Barangay Ecological Solid Waste Management Committee (BESWMC)

February 26, 2021, together with the Barangay Council, Zone/Purok Officers, Barangay Volunteers and the BESWMC had a Rekorida in disseminating information with regards to proper waste disposal and informing the Mambatangan Residents or the Zero Cellophane Ordinance.

This is part of the BESWMC Action Plan as discussed in their first regular meeting.

General Pahina at Mambatangan Elementary School

Mambatangan Elementary School Prinicpal Mr. Joey Somohoy instructed teachers and parents to join forces for the General Pahina.

With a handful of creativity, teamwork and determination the Activity was a success.

Purok 5 Mambatangan Farmers Association Profiling Activity

As one of the Zone/Purok in Barangay Mambatangan, the Purok 5 Mambatangan Farmers Association Officers goes with their action plan to do household survey in their area.

Together with the Purok 5  Mambatangan Farmers Association President ,Mr. Agustin Paculanang Jr. "JUN", the officers interviewed each resident for possible membership of the said association. Data Gathering and information were collected, and in respect of the residents, all information are confidential.

The profiling was a success and was able to generate few funds/donations also as agreed in the meeting.

Barangay Ecological Solid Waste Management Committee (BESWMC) First Regular Meeting for 2021

The first meeting for the year 2021, February 8 at 8:00 in the morning at Mambatangan Elementary School Multi-Purpose Hall. It started with the call to order, invocation, roll call, determination of the quorum, reading and approval of the previous minutes.

Hon. Junrey P. Lagat welcomes the guests and members as follows: Barangay Kagawad, CVO (Civilian Volunteer Officer), BHW (Barangay Health Worker), and Purok Leaders. Handouts are distributed with regards to the first meeting agenda citing the vital topics to be discussed for the day. Hon. Junrey P. Lagat also recognized the presence of Mr. Joey Sumohoy, the new School Principal of Mambatangan Elementary School for the sound system set-up and the venue of the meeting. 

Hon. Junrey P. Lagat then proceeds to the first concern of the day which was, the GARBAGE COLLECTION MATTERS. As what the Barangay imposed, it was agreed and arranged, the collection of garbage in our Barangay is scheduled every last Friday of the month. All of the garbage
